I wrote this to a friend a while back and now share with you. Dear Teri It was so nice to hear from you, and I was quite surprised that you want to start a home business. However I felt honored that you would seek my advice in doing so. I will share what I wish I had been given when I first started out I’m here for you and if there are any questions get a hold of me and I will work with you. Take and apply what you are about to read and do what needs to be done you will have success. I cannot stress how important it is that you believe in your self you set your goals and put forth the effort it will take for you to achieve. There are so many people that get online and fail, why because they lack the basic information that which you are about to receive. So with the confidence and believe in your self, take this knowledge and make your dreams come true. The Right Mindset When you go into any kind of business you must have the right mindset from the start. So what is the mindset? The following will give you some idea of what I’m talking about. 1. Having a plan of what it is you want to do written 2. Understanding what you are willing to do effort, time 3. Being serious about your business 4. Believing and committing yourself to the success of your business Now you make say that makes sense, simple business principles and you are right. However there are so many people that try to start an online business that fail. Why because they did not have the right mindset. They get online invest in a program have no clue why they do what they are doing. Before they know they spent time and money no results, jump into another program get the same results. So for you to have success you will have the right mindset. Get some paper and a pen lets get started. Plan Your Business You have decided you want to make money online. It is important first to figure out what you want to do. What is your goal? Do you want to make a few hundred dollars, or thousands of dollars? Do you have a product /service to promote or you want to promote for someone or something? So do you see why you need a plan of action and why you need to know what it is you want? These are important questions to answer and are one of the biggest reasons why beginners fail. So we plan for success. Example 1. I want to make $1000.00 in 30 days 2. I have no product /service to promote 3. Check out what is selling what is hot Do researches find a market (called a niche) go to Goggle search, make a list scale down list of marketers check out competitors, and the number of products existing in that market (spend two days on this) (Now I want you to notice one thing I had settled on an area where money is being made if it is selling you can sell it.) Affiliate marketing (promoting product/service for someone) again find something that is moving check out what kind of commissions are offered, what do I want to invest, how much time will I need to invest, any computer skills required (two days on this) (Check out Clickbank or PayDot.com find best selling products and niche topics) Product model cars, affiliate good commissions now what do I need website software an example make a plan!! Your Business is Real a Business One of the top ten reasons people that try to make it online, don’t because they do not treat there business as a real business. You have made a decision to make money online there fore you have started a business, if you do not treat as such no money will come your way and that is a fact. Online you market to real people; customer’s real cash changes hands when you involve your self in your business no matter what income opportunity you have chosen your effort will pay you. It is important the more serious you become with your business the more money you will make. If you become an affiliate marketer you are looking for referral’s people joining you taking your business seriously you will be communicating and growing your business. Once you start making money you can take your business plan and tweak it, expand your goals set a firm strategy of how and when you will reach them. There is a matter that you need to know when you are making your business plan set goals that you want to obtain in a time period that is reasonable. If you set a goal that is unreachable within a time period you set your self up for disappointment. Don’t do that set mini goals within a time frame that can be reached building you up, to accomplish your next goal. Look at making $1,000 in a month it looks difficult just starting out but if you where to look at making $250 a week or better yet $34 per day makes reaching that goal more attainable agree. Making Money Online Now in order for you to make money online you will need to find a business to work with I went over briefly ways to find one in the business plan. It is important just starting out to find one program and stick with it. You have seen there are a mass variety of money making opportunities out there waiting for you. When I first started out I jumped into program after program, working this program then that one when this one made money I would focus on that one when it stopped or was not doing what I thought it should I was off to a another program crazy. I knew money could be made but did not know how to make the right way. With time and education I learned and enjoy what I do. I found a program and stuck with it GDI Realize you can succeed have discipline to focus on one proven program stick with it and learn the fundamentals of marketing learn how to set up a website, how to get leads, writing a great pre sell and sales copy letter. What you learn and the more you learn about making money online will create wealth for you. Online marketing grows and changes but the basic marketing concept will remain the same. Maybe with a different twist but with a result that will never change, someone buying a product/service and real money being made. Learn and grow with your business, and be able to shift a tactic if necessary being flexible and willing to experiment on ways to attract business. It’s important that consistency, focus and patience become a routine and staying in for the long haul will be rewarded. Making it Happen You have your mindset, your plan, your product, (which is your business) you are ready to go. It is going to take time and effort on your part to be successful. But you can do it, so let’s talk about getting out there getting your feet wet. If you have chosen to do affiliate marketing, (my favorite) a website in most cases or something similar has been provided for you so now you have to get your site seen so that you can start making money trouble is there are others that are doing the same as you. But no worry this is where you put in the effort, you want to push your way to the front of the pack so you are seen more often. How do you do this well let’s start with Traffic Exchanges, if you have a budget to work with you buy credits, and as people click your site comes around. If you have no budget to work with then set a time you can view other sites to build up your credits. One thing is you should at least commit 10 hours a week if you are doing this part time to your business. The more time you can spend the better. Make a plan and stick to it. Find message boards that are related to your niche message boards, forums, there are a lot of ways to get your site seen find them use them. Now Teri I have shared with you some basic information that will help you get started. We have talked and you have seen a lot of opportunities that are offered. It is unfortunate but there are some programs that are not worth the space that it is written on. I would like for you to check out GDI it has done well for me and also you can build a website thur there program to promote what ever you would like to offer. However just make sure you chose one program to work with until you are comfortable and stick with it. Then branch out creating several streams of income. You will enjoy waking up finding your inbox with notices you been paid.
